The space For seven years, La Perlita de Palomino has been offering eco-lodging, farm-fresh organic food from our farm in La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and guided local trips. La Perlita is a great choice for travelers who want an authentic experience in El Divino Niño neighborhood of Palomino while relaxing in a cozy oasis. With a maximum of 12 guests total, travelers who choose to stay at La Perlita have the option of socializing or finding privacy in the various "pocket spaces" we have created including, the plunge pool, garden sitting area, rooftop terrace yoga or sunbathing space as well as the dining/lounge area. Our property is fresh and cool even in the hottest weather. Sit back and enjoy the wildlife including tropical birds, iguanas, red squirrels, hummingbirds and butterflies and cool off in our rock-walled plunge pool with jets! If you want to work on your tan, enjoy our roof top terrace (Caution: No minors allowed). We are only 3.5 blocks from Carrera 10, one of only 3 roads with beach access in Palomino and the beach is accessed by a small, very lightly used country road..a much lovelier experience for nature lovers than "la principal" with more traffic. It is a 15-20 minute leisurely walk to reach the beach. We are 10 minutes walking distance to the main strip "La Principal" or Carrera 6 for dining and nightlife and artesanal stores. Guests enjoy access to a restaurant and bar with seasonal menu made up of ingredients from our own organic farm in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. We try to be ecologically responsible. Please shut off a/c when leaving premises and do not cool below 20C for long periods of time: Besides not being necessary, the condensation will be unpleasant. Please help us conserve water, electricity and sorting of garbage from recyclables! Due to health reasons, there is absolutely no outside food or drink allowed on property or in rooms. We provide free potable water 24 hours a day, as well as free coffee in the mornings. We have a full restaurant and bar for all your other dining and drinking needs! Generator is powered up from 6-9pm AS NEEDED during power outages. Please NEVER burn anything including incense, candles or rollies inside rooms or on balconies. Smokers please only smoke in designated areas and always extinguish fully and deposit butts in ashtrays. *Please note: We are in a traditional neighborhood flanked by two beautiful hostels. Please be aware that you are not sheltered from surrounding noise in the neighborhood. Be especially aware that during the month of December Colombia parties daily!
