Families with children are welcome; crib and rollaway available - please message with ages if needed. Waterfront and watercraft Private dock and swim platform accessed via a grand staircase. Paddleboards, a kayak, a canoe, and floaties are provided for guest use. Fishing from the dock is welcome; the owner’s boat and fishing gear are off limits. Children must be supervised at all times; lifejackets are available and should be used as appropriate. Amenities and indoor features Full kitchen with everything you need to cook; large dining table for group meals. Comfortable living area with fireplace, laundry (washer and dryer), high‑speed Wi‑Fi, linens and towels provided. Board games and DVDs available for indoor entertainment. Guest access and off‑limits areas Guests have full access to the cottage interior (except the locked bedroom, locked bathroom, and basement), the yard, patio, and private lakefront. Parking is available on the property. Driveway, parking, and vehicles Unpaved, single‑lane, sloped driveway. Suitable for standard cars (low‑clearance vehicles, large trailers, and RVs are not recommended). Parking for multiple cars on the property; please park considerately. No low‑riding recreational vehicles (ATVs, dirt bikes, minibikes) allowed. Seasonal notes and safety In winter, roads and the driveway can be slippery - 4WD or AWD recommended. Management and house rules We manage the property remotely and communicate exclusively via the app. No parties or events. No unregistered guests. Quiet hours after 10 PM. Guests are responsible for reasonable care of the property and for reporting damage or issues promptly. Guest access This is our home and we want you to be comfortable. You’ll have the whole place to yourself and we’ll lock off the basement, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and a few cupboards so we can keep our stuff out of your way. *ROAD NOTICE* We want to ensure your safety and comfort during your stay. Please be aware that the driveway leading to the cottage is steep, particularly during snowy or icy conditions. We would not recommend taking the hill with low riding vehicles or when snow/ice is present. In such cases, we kindly ask guests to park their vehicles at a designated area approximately 400 meters from the cottage. To assist you in transporting your belongings smoothly, we've arranged for a toboggan at the parking location. Your safety is our priority, and we're here to make your stay enjoyable, particularly amidst the winter wonderland that surrounds us. Other things to note Driveway and parking • Unpaved, single‑lane, sloped driveway. Drive slowly. • Suitable for standard cars. Note that low‑clearance vehicles, large trailers, and RVs should park at the bottom of the hill rather than attempt to drive up the lane. • Parking available on the property for multiple cars; please park considerately. Access and off‑limits areas • Basement, one bedroom and one bathroom are locked for owner storage. • The boat and fishing gear is off limits. • All other interior spaces, the yard, and the private lakefront are for guest use. Waterfront and watercraft • Private, large waterfront area with steps to the water; no lifeguard on duty. Children must be supervised at all times. • Paddleboards and canoes are provided for guest use; lifejackets available and should be worn. • Owner boat and fishing gear are off limits. Do not use, move, or board the owner’s boat, motors, or fishing equipment. Recreation and house items • Board games, toys, DVDs, and indoor games are available for guest use. • Firepit is available; follow local fire regulations and never leave fires unattended. • No low riding vehicles such as ATVs, dirt bikes, or minibikes allowed on the property.
