The Addams House - Downtown Lancaster

The Addams House, named in honor of William Addams, is in the heart of Lancaster’s historic district, and is a short walk to the Central Market, the Lancaster Convention Center and the hospital. The Musser Park neighborhood is known for it's colonial architecture and tree-lined streets that provide travelers with a portal into America's past. The home is close to the city's best breweries, dining, shops and more! The space The Addams House was recently restored with tasteful touches throughout and includes one off-street parking space. The home has one bedroom, an updated bathroom, and a convertible couch in the living room for an additional sleeping area . The space hints to a past when things were simpler while highlighting the creature comforts one demands of today's modern spaces. Recessed lighting, hardwood floors, and high quality linens ensure a good night's rest, while the Smart TV and Xfinity high-speed internet provide travelers the peace of mind of staying connected. The home is filled with light throughout and offers enough space for two guests to enjoy comfortably. The home is professionally cleaned and cared for, and our team is here to ensure your experience in staying with us is the absolute very best. Guest access The entrance to the Addams House is easily accessed by parking in the rear of the home located behind Shippen St. Please park either to the left or to the right to allow space for our other guests. Once parked, enter through the rear wooden gatedoor, and access your home by entering the first door on your left. Other things to note *** THE BASICS *** a. FIRE EXTINGUISHER - located below the kitchen sink b. EMERGENCIES - Dial 911, then contact Airbnb c. ELECTRONIC KEYED ENTRY - located on the front door (see Airbnb check-in link on day of check-in) d. INTERNET/WIFI - Access to Netflix, Amazon, Xfinity through the app e. CABLE - Accessible through wifi f. RECYCLING - Yellow and green lid container located in the rear yard of home. g. TRASH - Place any bagged trash to be thrown away in the receptacles. If trash can is full, place trash next to receptacles. h. HEAT/AC - Heating is pre-set in the home. The air conditioner can be controlled separately i. QUIET HOURS - The row home has shared walls with our neighbors and other apartment homes on the premise. Please be mindful of quiet hours between 9:00 PM and 8:00AM. j. SHARED AREAS - Patio, laundry and parking areas may be shared with other guests k. PARKING - One off-street parking space is included with your reservation. Visitor parking permits are available in front of the home on N. Shippen St. for $2 per day. Please register your vehicle online prior to your arrival via the Lancaster Parking Authority website. Once registered, you can park at any space along N Shippen St. for the days purchased. Permits are not required on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. l. ADDITIONAL GUESTS - The home can accommodate up to two guests. For accurate pricing, ensure the number guests staying in the home are represented in your reservation. *** OF COURTESY *** a. Please tidy up the home so our next guests can enjoy the space b. Notify us of any needed repairs or damages at check-out c. Tidy dirty dishes in the sink area d. Place soiled laundry in the laundry basket located in the bathroom e. Remove outdoor shoes inside the home. f. Check-out time is at 10:00AM and housekeeping is scheduled at 10:15 AM Please notify us via text once leaving. *** OF IMPORTANCE *** Any of the following violations are subject to the full forfeiture of a guest(s) security deposit a. No smoking (or vaping) inside of home b. Up to two, medium sized dogs are allowed for a fee of $75 per pet per reservation. - Dogs should be kenneled within the home when left unattended. - Pet waste should be cleaned and disposed of immediately. - Any continuously barking dogs will be asked to be removed from premise. - Documented service animals are permitted. - All other animals are not permitted, to include cats are not permitted. c. No parties - events permitted with written approval.
