The property is situated roughly halfway between the town of King's Lynn and the historic medieval city of Norwich. The gorgeous North Norfolk coast, with 45 miles of unspoilt beaches, is a 35-minute drive away, and the Broads National Park is a 45-minute journey. The space WELCOME TO MAYFLOWER COTTAGE Inside the cottage, you will find a cosy living space with a comfy sofa and a welcoming wood burner. This leads to a fully equipped modern kitchen and a dining space with table & chairs. A back door leads into a small enclosed outside space with bistro table and chairs. Upstairs comprises a lovely double bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams leading to a beautiful bathroom with a roll topped slipper bath, a separate shower cubicle and W.C. All rooms have radiators. To the front of the property, there is a private, secluded garden surrounded by a gated picket fence with table and chairs for outside dining or just relaxing. The cottage also has private parking for 1 vehicle. The rural setting of Great Fransham is ideal for walking. There are lots of public footpaths accessible from the property that take you through fields, woodlands and along quiet country lanes. The nearest pub serving food is The Beeston Ploughshare in the neighbouring village about 2½ miles away - a 45-minute or so walk. The market town of Swaffham is 7 miles away, where a lively market is held on Saturdays. East Dereham, 8 miles away, has shops, supermarkets and a modern leisure centre with pool. This property is ideal as a weekend getaway, a romantic break for two or the starting point of a holiday exploring all this area of Norfolk has to offer. Other things to note 1 well- behaved pet welcome. Please keep dogs downstairs. Pets cannot be left at property unattended. Mayflower Cottage is at the end of a private lane off Station Road. The closest village shops are at Necton and Litcham.
