End House - Centrally located with Sea Views

Located in the heart of Downalong St Ives, moments from the harbour front, End House stands at the end of the quaint cobbled Victoria Road terrace. Greeted by a charming front courtyard adorned with shrubbery, the property welcomes you into the living spaces on the ground floor level. For up to 4 guests End House is the perfect spot for a central St Ives getaway with the whole town at your fingertips, a moments walk from the harbour front, beaches, shops and restaurants. The space Spanning over 4 floors, End House first welcomes you into the open plan living, kitchen, dining room, beaming with natural light which creates the perfect social space to dine and relax. The lounge space features a wood burning stove built into the wall, which makes those brisk winter evenings so much more cosy. Ascend to the first floor where the main king size bedroom is located. The bedroom is spacious and bright with plenty of storage space, dual aspect windows and a calming atmosphere. Next to this is a shower room which includes a sizeable shower cubicle, toilet, storage space for toiletries behind mirrored cupboard doors and a large sash window letting in light and ventilation. Descending to the bottom floor is a double bedroom which has slate flooring and abstract wall art. Through the bedroom towards the back of the house is a quiet work space tucked out of the way of the rest of the property. The other side of the bedroom leads to a utility room complete with washing machine. A bathroom which includes a bathtub with overhead shower facilities, toilet, vanity unit and some further storage solutions can also be found here. On the very top floor, spanning the entire footprint of the house, is a double bedroom. This bedroom has the most incredible views of the harbour beach and across the town through the vast floor to ceiling dormer window. Most will want to sit here and gaze at the surroundings whilst enjoying a good book or indulging in a glass of wine. The perspective of the view changes as night falls, illuminating with the lights of the town. Other things to note What we provide: Bed linen for all beds. Bath towels & hand towels for 4 guests. Tea towels, oven cloth and a bath mat for each bathroom. A double length toilet roll per bathroom. Hand soap, washing up liquid, anti bacterial spray, bleach. (Please note we do not provide shampoo, conditioner or shower gel due to personal preference and/or allergies) Dish cloth, sponge, dishwasher tablets. (Please note we do not provide washing detergent/pods due to personal preference and/or allergies) Oil, salt, pepper, pint of milk, tea bags, coffee sticks and sugar sticks. We provide 1 bag of logs, 1 bag of kindling and firelighters for the log burner between October - March. If you'd like to use the log burner outside of the Winter/Autumn time or need to buy additional bags of logs they can be bought at Norway Stores on Back Road West or Osbornes on Tregenna Place. The cottage is set over 4 floors, with 3 sets of stairs and each of the bedrooms on a different floor. As such we do not recommend this cottage to anyone travelling with mobility issues or small children. Please note: The cottage does not have a parking space and there is no free on street parking. We do however have a few off site parking spaces (20 minute walk away) which we can book out alongside a reservation at End House for an additional fee.
