Villa Tasia

Villa Tasia is set in an olive grove in a valley called Koutrouli within the village of Kalafationes. It's conveniently central to the island, within 20 minutes drive to Corfu Town and the nearest beaches and provides an ideal base to explore all over the island. It's a peaceful, rather untouched part of Corfu and most of the people who live here have been here for generations. The space The villa has been recently renovated with new bathrooms and an addition of a separate shower room for three showers in total. All rooms are independently cooled and heated with new energy efficient air conditioning units in addition to a separate central heating radiator system for the colder winter months. All four bedrooms are large double bedrooms - two with super king size beds and two with twin beds. One of the super king size beds can also be reconfigured to two separate twin beds. In the living room, the TV has built in streaming for major streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+, YouTube and an external HDMI cable for you to connect your own streaming/content through your own HDMI adaptor should you prefer. We also have a multi- region blu-ray player, bluetooth speaker and various games, jigsaw puzzles, a jigsaw puzzle mat and books. The office room is in a quiet location at the side of the house and has a desk and printer, a perfect base for the Digital Nomad. There is free whole home wifi on a fast broadband connection which extends all over the villa. The kitchen is large and well appointed, we have a cooker and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, washing machine and the all important filter coffee maker! Outside - there is a patio area with dining table and chairs for al fresco feasts as well as an outdoor sofa set. There are also chairs and tables on the upstairs balcony, the perfect spot for your morning coffee and a good place to start your work day if you are visiting on business. On the balcony outside the kitchen, we also have storage containers with beach essentials and children’s toys which are free for you to use. For Babies and Toddlers - we have a travel cot and high chair, available on request. For accessibility - on the ground floor, the office room has a sofa bed which can be converted to an additional bed if needed. The ground floor bathroom has a wide walk-in shower large enough for wheelchair access. All doors on the ground floor are at least 75cm wide. The pathway to the house from the gate has some shallow steps - please see the photo.
