Our spacious, four-bedroom retreat invites you to unwind and recharge in a beautiful setting, whether you're here for a peaceful escape or an action-packed adventure. With big screen TVs in every room, a 10-person dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen, you’ll find everything you need for quality time with friends and family. The expansive living room and professional Foosball table offer the perfect space for fun and relaxation, while the large backyard is ideal for outdoor games and leisurely afternoons. Just a short 15-minute drive from the entrance to Shenandoah National Park, 25 minutes to the vibrant center of Charlottesville, and situated in the heart of Virginia’s renowned wine country, our home is a fantastic base for exploring the best of the region. Whether hiking scenic trails, enjoying local wineries, or discovering historic Charlottesville, you’ll find yourself close to it all. After a day of exploring, return to unwind, share stories around the dining table, and enjoy a game night with our collection of board games. This is a place designed to feel like home, with ample space for large groups and the comfort of a private retreat in a stunning location. Come experience Virginia’s charm and natural beauty with us, where your comfort and adventure await! If you’re planning to visit between November 1 and January 30, you’re in for an extra treat. The home transforms into a winter wonderland, donned in festive Christmas lights, eight beautifully decorated trees, and holiday touches that would make even Santa’s village envious. This holiday magic adds an extra layer of charm, making your stay feel like a cozy, enchanting retreat. Whether you're gathering with loved ones for Thanksgiving, celebrating Christmas, or simply looking to soak up the season's joy, our holiday decor will help make your stay unforgettable. Guest access Guests are free to enjoy everything the ground floor, upstairs, and backyard has to offer. The two living rooms have plenty of seating for guests who want to stream on both TVs, play on the foosball table, board games, or simply enjoy serenity. The kitchen is ready for your use - whether cooking for one, or a large group. The dining room table (and accompanying bar) can seat 8. If you need a quiet place to work, my office has a computer and printer for guest use. The second floor space is where all of the bedrooms are located. The master suite sports a king bed, and there is an air mattress in the walk-in closet. Two of the guests rooms are appointed with queen beds, and the fourth room can accommodate guests on bunk beds. The backyard is fully fenced-in, and the deck is sporting a four-person patio set. Feel free to try your hand at badminton or corn hole - two family favorites!
