Quirky, Beautifully Converted Train Carriage 1

Coalport Station offers unique self-catering accommodation in two railway carriages. Stay in one of our renovated railway carriages and relax in comfort surrounded by beautiful woodland. From the outside, our carriages look like historic GWR rolling stock, but on the inside, they offer modern luxury holiday accommodation. Both Carriages can be booked for larger family gatherings The space Carriage 1 Sleeps up to 6 persons and features: An en-suite master cabin with a whirlpool bath, two further twin cabins, a family WC with a shower, a fully fitted kitchen, and a light and airy lounge. There is a peaceful outside dining area for guests to eat, socialise and relax with surrounding grounds and woodlands to explore. Guest access You will have the entirety of Carriage 1 for your own enjoyment as well as the dedicated outside dining space. Other things to note This is a small country railway station in a rural setting and as such may be unsuitable for persons with a severe walking disability. There is a gravel car park, to get to the carriages, you need to walk down a gravel path which has a slight slope, and onto the platform. To gain access to the carriages you have to go up several steps with hand rails on both sides. Unfortunately the carriage doors are original and are unsuitable for wheelchair access.
