The entrance is at the bottom of a wide stairwell leading up to the first floor. On the ground floor level there is an entrance area with a washing machine, dryer and small chest freezer as well as hooks for coats and some space to leave muddy boots or a pram etc. The first floor is made up of a large living room with a big L-shaped sofa, electric fire and dining area and a separate kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, oven, toaster, kettle as well as good storage and seating with 2 bar stools. The second floor includes a large bathroom with separate shower and bath and 2 spacious double rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a double bed. A further good sized room includes a desk and very comfortable double sofa bed (can be set up on request). There is a small seating area in the courtyard immediately outside the entrance to the flat for the use of guests and also a large grassed garden area with seating and a small table for the sole use of guests. Guest access Parking and access to the front door of the flat is via areas shared with the main house. Guests have to walk through an old outbuilding to access the courtyard where the flat entrance is. Once inside the whole flat is for the sole use of guests. There is a small seating area in the courtyard immediately outside the entrance to the flat for the use of guests and a large grassed garden area with seating for the sole use of guests which is accessed via the outbuilding. Other things to note Cats and dogs live on the premises so the Flat is not appropriate for anyone who has a severe pet allergy or who is afraid of animals. Due to the age of the Flat, some of the ceilings, beams and door frames are low relative to more modern properties and will require taller guests to take care and duck on occasion in order to safely move around the property. For example, the entrance door into the Flat on the first floor and the door into the kitchen are particularly low (about 5ft 9ins). The ceiling height throughout the flat is at least 6ft 7ins and therefore we consider that the Flat would be inappropriate for anyone taller than about 6ft 6ins for their own safety.
