The space Absolutely NO parties, events, or unregistered guests allowed at the property. Any violation of this may result in IMMEDIATE eviction without refund. We ask that guests do not throw any products in the toilet - even toilet paper. The home was built in the 1963 so it has older piping that will likely require an emergency plumber which costly if clogged or backed up. We do ask that guests lightly water the 4 real plants in the home once per week. PLEASE READ THE POOL INFO: Tim, our pool maintenance person, services the pool on Monday morning to ensure cleanliness, expect to see someone working on the water to ensure the water is at the proper pH and cleanliness level. Pool use is at your own risk. Please take care and responsibility when using the pool. Please do not allow minors to use the pool without adult supervision. Changing the temperature of the pool is against our rules and will result in a hefty $2500 fine. Please note there is no guaranteed temperature for the pool. We are not responsible if the weather is not preferable making the pool too cold, so please keep this in mind while booking. Though these issues are rare, if pool temperature is not to your liking or is not working, we do not provide refunds for your stay. While it is cleaned every Monday, the pool may occasionally have leaves, bugs, or debris in it from high winds. Las Vegas is a desert and does have critters. **Please do not touch the pool equipment.** Although there is a pool heater ($100/per day), it does not heat the pool effectively so it is not available for guest use. LANDSCAPING: Leo, our landscaper and his team, come to the property every Friday to trim the bushes and leaf blow the property. Neither Tim or Leo and his crew will NOT need access to the interior of the property and can let themselves in through the side gate. POOL TABLE: To ensure the longevity and optimal condition of the pool table, we kindly ask all guests to adhere to the following guidelines. Please refrain from placing any food or drinks on the pool table surface, as spills will damage the felt and impact gameplay. Avoid leaning or placing heavy objects on the table, as this can lead to warping or misalignment - it's a pool table, not a storage table. Standing on the table is strictly prohibited, as it poses a risk of significant damage to the slate and frame. Please use only designated pool cues during gameplay, and handle all accessories with care to prevent scratching or other damage and report any issues or damage promptly to ensure timely maintenance. Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining the quality of our pool table for all guests to enjoy. PLANTS IN THE BACKYARD: Please take note that our backyard is adorned with a variety of lush greenery, including oleander leaves, flowers, and roots that may be potentially harmful if ingested. While these plants pose no threat through simple contact, ingestion could lead to health complications, particularly for our furry friends. We kindly request that you keep a watchful eye on any pets you bring along and ensure they are monitored closely while exploring the backyard. As an additional precaution, we highly recommend that dogs wear muzzles during their time in the backyard area. We take the safety and well-being of all our guests, including our four-legged companions, very seriously. Unfortunately, we learned this lesson the hard way when our own beloved pet had an incident after consuming a few leaves, resulting in a week-long hospitalization. Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines will not only safeguard the health of your pets but also help maintain the tranquility and beauty of our Tiki Surf Club.
