Description
Welcome to RITA Yame Fukushima, a chance to color your "life" from tomorrow! RITA Yame Fukushima is a small hotel with only 2 rooms in a renovated 100-year-old private house. We will help you experience the lifestyle of Yame Fukushima. Please come & enjoy conversation with the people of the town and encounter new scenery. It has been blessed with rich agricultural products, supported by the fertile plains of the Yabe River basin, rolling hills, and vigorous flood control and water utilization. The space From the late Edo period to the Meiji period (1868-1912), a variety of local specialties were developed, including handmade washi paper, stone lanterns, Buddhist altars, and chochin lanterns, which are still passed down today as traditional craft industries. The townhouses that remain in the Fukushima area today are the last witnesses to the relationship between industry, production, and buildings. 【COVID-19 Measures】 ・Regular disinfection is provided in common areas. ・Adequate ventilation is provided in all rooms. ・Our cleaning staff always wear masks and gloves, while sanitizing the rooms using alcohol and other effective means (including remote controls, wall switches, doorknobs, etc.). ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー -KUKI- The former Otsubo House is over 100 years old. The detached wing, once in danger of collapse, was rebuilt with the skill of a master craftsman. The room was named after one of the family crests used by Yoshimasa Tanaka, the "Kugi-nuki crest". "Kugi-nuki" means "to pull out 9 castles" in Japanese, which is a very auspicious family crest.
