Private double bedroom in Killarney (Birch)

Enjoy your time in Killarney in my historic 1890's Irish farmhouse. I am close to the town centre (only 20 minutes walk) but far enough to feel like you are in a quiet secluded location. My house is directly in front of the Killarney Celtic Football pitch. The space There is a full bathroom upstairs with an electric shower, you have an instant hot shower. The bathroom is shared with two other bedrooms. Please note only the shower and not the bathtub is functional. There is a shared combination sitting room/dining room which includes a shared kitchenette area consisting of a fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Enjoy a self-serve breakfast at your own pace, with a variety of fresh and comforting options to start your day. The spread includes homestyle pastries (ready to warm up and enjoy), toast with butter and a selection of jams, a bowl of fruit, and a choice of teas, coffee, and juices. Everything is laid out for your convenience—just help yourself whenever you’re ready. Distance to popular spots from my house: *St. Mary's Cathedral 2.8 KMS (30 minutes by foot and 4 minutes by car) *Kerry Airport 17 KMS (17 minutes by car) *Killarney bus/train station 1.9 KMS (25 minutes by foot and 4 minutes by car) *Lidl Supermarket 1.4 KMS (10 minutes by foot and 3 minutes by car) *Gleneagle INEC 3.7 KMS (7 minutes by car) Due to energy costs more than doubling in the past year, the heating will not be on all day 24/7. From October- mid April, the heating will be on for a limited time in the morning and a limited time in the evening throughout your stay. There will be no heating in use from mid-April through end of September. This allows me to keep my Airbnb as one of the most economically priced rentals in Killarney. As a by product, it also will help with environmental care. The bed is fitted with a heavy 13 TOG duvet and a heated blanket. Duvets are available, so you'll be nice and warm to sleep. Guest access You will have access to a private bedroom. The full bathroom, living area, kitchenette and outside garden are all shared. During your stay I will be available if you need me. Other things to note Due to the house being so old, I ask that you open the bathroom window after showering to let all the steam out and now allow damp in the house. No smoking in the house.
