Welcome to Blueberry Banks Cottage near South Algonquin. Relax on Lake St. Peter with 200 feet of shoreline nestled in the white pines on 1.5 acres. 3-bedroom cottage is bright, airy and comfortable with a warm feeling and open concept. Water is great for swimming, close to trails. You will have access to our dock, two stand up paddle boards and canoe. Algonquin park is a 20 min drive and Lake St. Peter provincial park is a 10 min walk, where there is a beach, trails and laundry facilities. The space The property is on 1.5 acres of land and surrounded by crown land on a quiet lake. The cottage 1.5 stories and is approximately 1100 square feet. There is a very large main deck right off of the main living area. access to our BBQ and firepit. There are two bedrooms on the main floor each with a queen bed. The third bedroom is in a loft area up a flight of stairs and the loft is open/overlooking the main living area, with a 6.5 foot ceiling height. The loft has a king sized bed and a child size bed. There are 66 stairs down from the main deck to the water, be on the lookout for wild blueberries as you make your way down . There is a smaller deck close to the water, and also a dock. We have a horseshoe pit, cornhole, and two hammocks. We have two large outdoor couches, which easily convert into daybeds for an outdoor nap, and a large patio table which can extend to seat 10. Guest access The cottage is easily accessed off of a municipal, well serviced road. There is plenty of parking for cars/trailers. Maynooth and Whitney are both close by and have a number of local shops, bakeries, groceries. Bancroft is the main town for larger stores and is about a 25 minute drive. There is conveniently a LCBO/ Linkies General store located a 5 minute drive away.
