Vacation home/chalet in the beautiful Urner mountains

Away from the hustle and bustle, no unpleasant mass tourism, away from annoying stress. Who doesn't long for peace in the beautiful mountains of Uri. Up here you can quickly get into absolute deep relaxation. Wild animals, such as chamois and hares, can be admired from the sofa with luck. Our exclusive vacation home is in the middle of nature. Nevertheless, it is accessible from the Eggberge mountain station (cable car at 1450 m) on foot in about 30 minutes, about 1.5 km. CAR-FREE No access! The space We are new to AB&B! The large, completely newly renovated vacation home/chalet (about 90 m2) has lots of space. The modern kitchen includes a dishwasher, glass ceramic hob, fridge, oven, microwave and a coffee machine. In the dining and living area there is a cozy soapstone stove. The house can only be heated with wood. Three very cozy bedrooms can accommodate up to seven people. The house has a toilet in the basement. The upstairs bathroom is large and includes a shower, toilet and sink. A barbecue, sun loungers and a fixed bench set are available for outdoor use. There is also a radio and TV, various games and a washing machine. There is a mobile router available as WiFi. Guest access Guests have access to the ground floor and upper floor. Access to the basement and attic is private, as is a storage room on the upper floor. You are always alone in the house during your stay. Other things to note Important information: Getting there: Important! No direct access to the vacation home is possible. By private car or public transport to the valley station of the Flüelen-Eggberge UR cable car. There, the car can be parked for a parking fee. The journey is therefore only via the Flüelen-Eggberge cable car and an easy walk to the vacation home (approx. 30 min. walk, 1.5 km, 120 meters in altitude). Hiking boots and backpack are recommended. The luggage and the necessary food will be transported to the cottage by yourself. If necessary, a taxi service could be arranged (for a fee). City Taxes In addition, a tourist tax of CHF 1.50 per person per night will be charged. Rich tourism opportunities: Hiking and biking: Schächentaler Höhenweg about 1.5-6.5 hours, to Fleschsee approx. 1 hour, Wildheuerpfad trail approx. 4 hours, several mountain hikes possible e.g. Rophaien about 4-5 hours. Bathing/swimming: Fleschsee (mountain lake) approx. 1 hour, Lake Uri approx. 1 hour, indoor pool Moosbad Altdorf about 50 min. Skiing: ski resort with a ski lift, in 8 minutes running time on the prepared slope Snowshoeing: Long trail network towards Schächental Next: paragliding, grilling, observing nature, collecting mushrooms, observations with binoculars
