Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cottage is on the Island of Islesboro, accessed by car ferry from Lincolnville, private plane, or private boat. Located at the end of a mile long, private road, this guest house is situated right on the shorefront on West Penobscot Bay. It shares a driveway that accesses this cottage and the owner’s home. Watch sailboats and eagles from the front porch. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The space There is access from a back deck directly into the kitchen. You can also access from the front porch directly into the living room. The kitchen, eating space, living room and bathroom are all on the first floor. There is a modified stair/ships ladder to the loft/bedroom. The bedroom has two pillow top twin beds, nightstand, chairs, dresser and closet. The cottage sits directly on the shorefront, accessible by a staircase to the beach. There is AC and heat, this property is winterized and available year-round. Brand new range, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer, granite countertops, cathedral ceiling in kitchen/eating space. There is a brand-new gas grill, and access to a propane lobster pot cooker. High speed internet/wifi; new smart TV with streaming capability. Log in to your own streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.) DirectTV. Work from here with great connectivity. Printer access is also available.
