The October Cabin

The October Cabin, Tiny House made from recycled materials. Built over more than 5 years by our own and those of friends. Every square inch of our cabin is made up of recycled materials, objects found a little bit everywhere, old family furniture and others that we have made to measure. You will have understood it is 100% handmade, based on recycled materials. The space Our cabin is in the heart of a green setting where a small river flows, located in the beautiful town of Céret. The cabin is a 10-min walk from the city center and 3 min from the famous Pont du Diable. During your stay you can enjoy both a quiet and peaceful place surrounded by nature as well as the pleasant and lively city center of Céret with the unmissable Museum of Modern Art. You can also take the greenway on the old railway to go to Arles sur Tech or to Saint Jean Plat de Corts. We will be happy to advise you on activities to do around the cabin: hiking, bike trails, paragliding, canyoning, heritage and culture visits, water ski lift, tree climbing, swimming in the lake with pedal boat and paddle... The cabin is ideal for a couple with a bedroom, shower and dry toilet. It can occasionally accommodate families with a maximum of two children. The interior consists of a kitchen area, a relaxation and reading area and a sleeping area with bathroom and toilet. Outside, the cabin overlooks a large garden with a terrace, an above-ground swimming pool (depth 1m20), a vegetable garden to pick seasonal vegetables, a chicken coop with chicken and chicks. Hopefully you might run into our deer friends. At the cabin, you can enjoy the tranquility of the place, no noise, except the streams and the singing of birds. To discover even more of our fabulous department, know that the cabin is 30 min from the sea, 30 min from Figueras and 30 min from Haut Vallespir. Other things to note Unfortunately, the cabin is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Our cabin is on a plot with complicated access where you have to take a path, go down several steps and stairs.
