The Pagatinu system is similar to a prepaid phone card. You buy a credit at a minimarket or gas station for a certain amount. Then you will receive a voucher with a code. This code must be entered on the Pagatinu box. Once you have done this, you will be able to use electricity for the amount you have purchased. The apartment is fully equipped with 220-volt mains voltage.
