Our Casetta 15 of the former ProJuventute holiday settlement "Bosco della Bella", renovated with a lot of passion, is located in the middle of a chestnut forest in the beautiful Malcantone. Very quiet between Lake Lugano and Lake Maggiore, it offers 6 beds. The post bus stops right at the complex and takes you in a short time to Ponte Tresa on Lake Lugano or to Luino on Lake Maggiore. The space The holiday settlement was built in 1961 by ProJuventute, planned by the well-known Swiss architect Justus Dahinden, especially for families with many children and class camps. The character of the 60s was deliberately preserved during the renovation of Casetta 15. Our Casetta has a double bed, 4 single beds, kitchen, dining area, gallery with double sofa, shower, 2 toilets and a terrace. The kitchen is equipped with a new oven and dishwasher. A small "Green Egg" can be used. In the colder season, you can heat with a pellet stove. From the parking lot you can reach Casetta 15 via a narrow footpath with steps (path about 100 m). The accommodation can be accessed independently via a key box. Guest access At the complex there is a campsite with playground, barbecue area, restaurant and a swimming pool with children's pool (from approx. June to about September). The swimming pool and fireplace can be booked via the campsite. Other things to note Various hiking opportunities start from the complex. Cycling and mountain bike trails through the Malcantone pass by Bosco della Bella. You can enjoy the aperitif after a 10-minute postbus ride in Luino on Lake Maggiore or in Ponte Tresa on Lake Lugano. You can also easily reach the markets of Luino (Wednesday) and Ponte Tresa (IT, Saturday). Adjacent to the resort is the "Bosco della Bella" campground, where there is a pool. It is public and can be used for an entrance fee. And finally, this: - The safety regulations in the 60s were more generous than today. You can climb in the rooms. This was deliberately left as is (like original). - Parents are liable for their children! - To keep cleaning costs low, we ask guests to make the beds themselves and remove the sheets before departure.
