Make your next visit to India’s Scotland of the East memorable by staying at Bayt Shalom (House of Peace). ▪1 double bedroom w/ attached bathroom, bed size - 4.5 feet wide ▪located in a peaceful neighborhood just 5km from famous Police Bazaar. ▪Grocery stores, restaurants and public transportation - 5 min walk away. ▪Light, complimentary breakfast (toast, egg, cereal) all days except Saturdays. Weekend check in/out timings differ, so please check w/ host. The space The rooms have been carefully decorated to create a cozy and peaceful environment, ideal for relaxation, self-reflection, prayer, or to finally finish that novel you've been reading. The location - We decided to open up our home, Bayt Shalom - House of Peace, so you can also experience the blessing of being close enough to Shillong's popular shopping and dining scene, yet also be away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The property - there is a lot of greenery around and the front garden is perfect for those rare sunny days. The covered patio is a great place to unwind, catch up on messages or share a cup of tea with a fellow guest. Guest access Important Note: NO KITCHEN ACCESS In addition to your private room, you can also use the: ▪︎ Front garden and patio ▪︎ Foyer ▪︎ Utility area with electric kettle, coffee/tea, microwave ▪︎ Powder room ▪︎ Dining room- during breakfast only During your stay You can send me a message any time before arrival and during your stay, if you have any questions and clarifications. The caretaker lives on a different level in the same building, so together, she is also there to answer any questions on-site. Other things to note On weekends, check in/out timings are as follows: Saturday ▪︎Check-in: after 5pm ▪︎Check-out: 1pm If you check-in on Saturday, stay 1 night and leave on Sunday: ▪︎Check-out: 3pm
