"Oakley's Cloud" was completely renovated in 2022 and named after the previous owner, Mr. Oakley Cloud. Oakley’s love for the outdoors included hunting, fishing, bonfires, four-wheeler excursions, having memorable times with friends and family, relaxing, and enjoying the country air and what the area had to offer. We hope this is the perfect setting for you to enjoy and love the quiet of nature and a country-like atmosphere. The space This three-bedroom cabin has two full bathrooms, fully functioning kitchen that is well stocked for your cooking and baking necessities. Farm fresh eggs available upon request. You have full washer and dryer capabilities. The cabin has an open floor plan to visit and make memories. BBQ on the grill then relax by the fire pit or stargaze with amazing views. Televisions are located in the main living area and master bedroom, reading material and games are in the cabin, and lawn games are available upon request. We have pets and there are also neighborhood fur-friends, which may occasionally visit; please do not let them inside. They are friendly and may require a treat (provided) or some special loving. Guest access Guests have access to entire house and over four acres of land. Please respect locked door in the first bedroom. Other things to note Take it easy at this unique and tranquil cabin located in the Catskills of upstate New York. This cabin is located on a low traffic country road and is approximately two hours from New York City. Come for your perfect getaway to escape, relax, and enjoy the many recreational activities Downsville has to offer. This area is known for hunting and fishing. Fish the beautiful Pepacton Reservoir or many rivers, lakes, or ponds in the area. Enjoy kayaking, canoeing, or tubing along the East Branch of the Delaware River where both Golden and Bald Eagles can be spotted. Hike the trails of Bear Spring Mountain along with many state trails in the area. During the winter, skiing and snowboarding is a short drive away with snowmobiling trails minutes away. Many lakes and/or ponds are very close for ice fishing. Local restaurants and breweries are 7 to 30 minutes away. Enjoy a longer scenic mountainous drive to other areas for great food, antique stores, seasonal activities, and much more. We cannot wait to see you in our neck of the woods!
