Casa Menta is an accommodation designed for people who love nature and are looking for a simple, pleasant and comfortable stay. Our house has an extensive garden that is our greatest treasure, which gives freshness to the house and allows you to enjoy bird watching. Our accommodation is located in a simple (not a luxurious neighborhood) and very safe village, 3 minutes from Honda Tolima. The house lives Naia, our cat. The space The house has a total of three bedrooms with private bathrooms, a well-equipped indoor kitchen, an outdoor kitchen (less equipped than the main one) overlooking the pool, the garden, TV and reading room, work area, dining area and laundry area. You are renting a room within the space described above. This is located at the entrance of the house and has a separate door, it has two beds, a spacious and private bathroom, comfortable for up to 3 people. We clarify that when a room is booked, the *room and bathroom space are 100% private*, but there are shared areas. That is, the kitchens, the dining rooms, the living room, the garden and the pool. We love nature and allow our guests to bring their pets (subject to some rules). Note: We preserve old mango trees, which attracts birds, parrots, butterflies and other insects whose life we have decided to respect. We appreciate your understanding. Guest access To make all guests feel happy, these are our coexistence agreements: 1. Shared spaces (whether or not there are other guests) must be kept tidy and clean. 2. The use of loud speakers or noises that make other guests or neighbors uncomfortable is not allowed. 3. During sleeping hours, before 8:00 AM and after 10:00 PM, any noise that may disturb others should be moderated. 4. People not included in the reservation are not allowed to enter. 5. Guests are requested not to eat in the rooms and not to leave food outside of refrigerator or containers, which attracts ants and other animals. 5. In case of using oils, creams or others, shower before sleeping as this ruins the sheets. 6. Using the latch on the access doors is not allowed, as it prevents other guests from entering. 7. The company of minors and pets must be informed before booking. During your stay Sara will provide 24-hour message support. Maria, who is the person who cleans and keeps our beautiful house, will usually receive you (depending on the arrival time) or will come in the mornings to water the plants or do the house maintenance. We look forward to welcoming you in person. In any case, especially at night, we offer self check-in with a safe deposit box (ask us how). ** Early check-in service must be arranged in advance and may incur an additional cost. It is worth clarifying that the rental price includes cleaning the room before and after, but it is not intended to meet the particular needs of guests such as washing their dishes or cleaning excessive dirt due to lack of care. You may also meet Don Alirio, the pool attendant. We clarify that the pool cleaning service is scheduled according to need (not daily or permanently) and that our pool is located in the middle of trees that provide a pleasant atmosphere and that naturally shed leaves that can fall on it, which is natural and does not affect the quality of the water. Other things to note We have Wi-Fi and digital television (DTT), we do not have digital platform service, nor cable. It is worth mentioning the following: Home utilities such as water, gas, energy and internet are provided by external companies and our commitment is that if they fail, we will do everything in our power to restore the service.
