My name is Franca, and I am the granddaughter of Grandma Miglia. I have restored the little house that my maternal grandparents have lived in with love since the beginning of the 1900s, and it is within these walls that their love was born, a true fairy tale that will immerse you in a magical world between legend and reality. My grandfather loved to give hearts to his sweet beloved, and for this reason we called it "La Casina dei Cuori di Nonna Miglia" (Grandma Miglia's House of Hearts). In fact, you will find hearts scattered throughout the house, giving it a refined and romantic touch. The space The Casina dei Cuori is located on the first floor above a vault in the middle of the historic village of Pallerone (being in a historic house there is no elevator). The entrance door is located on the ground floor, a small flight of stairs leads to the first floor where there are: a bathroom with a large shower cabin, towels, bathrobes and courtesy kit, a large living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, a "Cuore Celeste" room with a single bed furnished as a sofa and another double "Romantici Cuori" each furnished with attention to detail with inside each comfortable grandmother's wardrobe completely restored. We are in a strategic position to be able to easily reach and visit the wonders that the area offers, from the mountains to the sea in a land rich in culture, traditions, entertainment but also magical places that you will surely fall in love with. Other things to note The Casina dei Cuori is located in the center of Pallerone, a hamlet of Aulla in Lunigiana, 50 meters from the main square of the village, near the church of San Tommaso Bekket from the 1400s with the famous oldest mechanical nativity scene in Italy (1935) and the Castle of Pallerone, a luxurious seventeenth-century residence that belonged to the Marquises Malaspina. Pallerone is a small village near the Via Francigena in the heart of Lunigiana, surrounded by mountains, rivers and streams in an ideal location for walks and trekking and bike excursions to discover magical places such as the Cinque Terre that you can reach in just 30 minutes by car. This land is also rich in history, medieval villages, castles, towers, manors, and stately residences. In fact, it is also called the "Land of a Hundred Castles," and therefore also home to ghosts, goblins, stories, and legends, a thousand-year leap back to the Middle Ages where you can spend a weekend or a vacation immersed in history, myths, legends, and good food. This place is also ideal for visiting the Apennine mountains at 1000 meters above sea level, where you will find Cerreto Laghi and Prato Spilla, which collect all the natural features, landscapes and sports and recreational facilities both in summer and winter, the nearby Garfagnana, Pontremoli, Equi Terme, but also the wonderful Cinque Terre, the Gulf of Poets from Portovenere to Lerici, Bocca di Magra, Carrara with its famous marble quarries and the nearby Versilia, which are only about half an hour away by car or train, while 1 hour away you can make day trips to the beautiful cities of art such as Parma, Pisa, Lucca, Genoa, Portofino and with half an hour more on the road you can also reach the wonderful Florence. We are about 4 km from the highway exit and the Aulla train station, the nearest airport is Pisa, about 70 km away. Parking is free just a few meters from the house.
