Oma Erna's House on the Mosel

Relax in your little retreat on the Mosel. From this wonderful place in a quiet side street of the mountain village Starkenburg you can start hiking, go wine tasting, simply relax or work remotely. Let the distant view and nature inspire you. The old half-timbered house has been completely ecologically renovated and is simply cosy including a wood stove. Available (fee) Breakfast in the café opposite, e-bike hire, panorama sauna, wine sales The space Enjoy the charm of an old half-timbered house from 1900, ecologically renovated and equipped with modern living comfort. A wonderful view of the mountains and the morning sun welcome you and you can enjoy your first coffee on the balcony with a 180 degree view. If you wish, you can also have breakfast daily at the Restaurant/Café "Schöne Aussicht" (50 metres). They also serve good home-cooked food and, of course, Starkenburger wine. We have 2 winegrowers in the village who are happy to do wine tastings. The sauna can also be booked at the "Schöne Aussicht" for a fee for 2-4 people including towels/bathrobe. Wonderful hikes start directly from your house. You can also rent e-bikes in the village and start a day tour through the vineyards. Guest access The whole house is at your disposal. You can park and charge your e-bikes in the cellar. The garden is used for fruit and vegetables. Please do not harvest and trample please. Other things to note A guest card is compulsory for the Traben-Trarbach region. This gives you discounts or free admission to many places. The card costs 50 cents per person per night (as of March 2024). The amount is charged on site. The guest cards for all guests will be ready on arrival. Please provide the names of all guests in good time before arrival. Thank you
