Casa Nicanuck is a modern home on an idyllic property that is well suited to families and small groups. Playa Guasacate is within walking/biking distance (900m) along with several surf breaks (5 min drive). The home boasts a private 24'x12' swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen and washer for your convenience. The space This home is equipped with 2 wall mounted air conditioning units in the master bedroom/ second floor bedroom and 2 large ceiling fans in the living space. **Please note that electrical outages and or internet outages are common in the area. if you require to be connected continuously a cell phone data plan is a good contingency consideration** The internet router is connected to a battery backup system that provides power to the router or for cell phone charging during a power outage. Guest access For your comfort and privacy, the house has a perimeter fence and full time caretaker. Other things to note We recommend stocking up on groceries from one of the big supermarkets (La Colonia, La Union, Maxi Palí) in Managua, Granada, or Rivas. If you require something in a hurry, there is a little store with basics in guasacate or Limon. Fresh produce and baked goods are available in nearby La Salinas. There is a ATM nearby, however the area currently does not have a gas station. For remote workers in need of ultra fast internet, we have Claro fiber optic internet.
