Description
Comfortable and spacious dual aspect room with a king size bed and private en suite shower in a 19th century former vicarage. The space This large old property is now home to our extended family, and although bustling with activity inside and out, it is very accommodating due to its size and many of our guests have described it as peaceful. We are surrounded by trees and greenery, and have a large garden including a walled vegetable garden and various herbs and fruits growing around the place during the summer months. The room is located on the first floor at the front of the house (south-facing) and overlooks the trees surrounding the property. Guest access The room is accessed through the shared main hallway, also sometimes occupied by our resident German Shepherd, who likes to alert us to any visitors. She can be very vocal until she has been introduced but always likes to make new friends! Guests are welcome to share our sitting and dining room on the ground floor but kitchen access is limited as there is already heavy demand on the facilities. However, we do have a microwave that we are happy for guests to use, and tea and coffee facilities including a mini fridge with fresh milk are provided in the room. The main house is set in two acres of private gardens and we have various spots for sitting and relaxing. The trees are home to many birds and deer also visit occasionally! During your stay We enjoy interacting with our guests but also understand that some guests are looking for a quiet visit without interruption. Either way, we can always be contacted through messages or you may find one of us in the garden or kitchen. Other things to note Breakfast is usually available by arrangement, and fresh coffee is almost always available in the kitchen.
