Relax and unwind at this cozy 2 bedroom cottage set just outside the main village of Ashford in the Water with a spacious private garden perfect for summer evenings. On the doorstep of historic Chatsworth and market town Bakewell, this is the perfect base to explore the delights of the Peak District. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy proximity to the Monsal Trail and lovely walks along the River Wye. The cottage is about 5 minutes walk to the village. The space The ground floor has a cozy lounge with two sofas, electric fire and a smart tv connected to apps which you are welcome to use with your own accounts. There is a well equipped kitchen with oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. The dining table seats four. The first floor comprises two bedrooms and the bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The second bedroom is a double bed with a clothes rail and chest of drawers. There is a spacious bathroom with a bath and shower. Towels and bedding are provided. There is spacious private back garden with comfortable seating area, please be aware there are steep stone steps and a pathway leading to the garden which might be difficult for people with limited mobility, there is a hand rail. Private parking space for 1 small/medium car and more space available at the bottom of the lane. This cottage has no washing machine or Air conditioning. *The cottage is also next to a road sweeping business so please expect some vehicle noise* Guest access Guests have access to the whole cottage, private garden and private parking space for the duration of their stay. Other things to note Access to the garden is via stone steps. We do not provide facilities for children. Potential for traffic noise.
