Montana Suite is the luxurious 2-bedroom penthouse suite at Suites de Mita-Boutique Hotel. It has a colorful and airy Great Room - an indoor garden, living room and kitchen open concept gem. The two bedrooms and game room are adjoined but separate to the Great Room. This allows the two bedrooms to have air conditioning comfort when needed. This suite has 5G fiber optic internet for easy remote work. Montana Suite adjoins the hotel's BBQ/palapa areas for your cooking, viewing and enjoyment use. The space Our PH Montana Suite has the traditional Mexican wood/clay-tiled ceilings and an open concept to enjoy the always present mountain/sea breezes. There is also a direct internet-connected smart cable TV, Xbox, WIFI headsets in the games room and 3 direct fiber optic internet connections in the Montana Suite for those wishing to zoom or work remotely. Punta de Mita is at the tip of Banderas Bay; it is just a small fishing village with an easy-going laid-back lifestyle. In our village, there are numerous good food venues to enjoy & some trendy shops to browse through. With its world-class golf courses & great surfing, diving, snorkeling, whale-watching & fishing excursions, Punta de Mita provides a wonderful destination for your "get-away" holiday. Punta de Mita has amazing sandy beaches. It is a popular surfing destination, but due to the long beaches & little bays, there are also calm warm waters to just frolic in. Sometimes it can be noisy in our village because it is a typical traditional fishing village with small children playing in the streets and weekends are usually reserved for family celebrations. REMOTE WORK - If you want to remote work on your laptop, tablet or cell, this is a great place for internet connectivity. The building has fiber optic 5G internet installed with speeds over 300Mbps. WIFI signals are very strong throughout with extenders on each floor, including the palapa -- where you can work or zoom while taking in the views of the Bay of Banderas. Each Suites de Mita kitchen comes equipped with all that you need to make your stay comfortable. Each suite has air conditioning, a ceiling fan & a smoke detector. NOTE: If you need an iron/board or hair dryer, just ask. We have both in our Suites de Mita office. There is a shared barbecue dining area on our 3rd floor open terrace where you can enjoy the sea breeze, admire the views, or just relax and meet our other guests. A spiral staircase to the roof palapa gives a great views of glorious sunrises & sunsets "Punta de Mita," an Aztec word meaning “Gateway to Paradise,” is situated on a 1,500-acre peninsular at the northern most tip of Puerto Vallarta’s "Bahia de Banderas" (Bay of Banderas) on the Pacific coast of Mexico. This quiet fishing village is an easy 50 minute drive north from or south to the ole town Puerto Vallarta. A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES IN/AROUND PUNTA de MITA ------------- Punta de Mita has something for everyone to enjoy. You will come to the perfect place to explore & enjoy miles of amazing beaches. The area is known for its five different surfing breaks & their surfing waves. It also has areas where the waters are calm & safe for non-surfers allowing for easy paddle boarding, kayaking & just floating in the warm beach water. There are many places to rent surf & paddle boards on the beach & they also provide lessons or excursions. Local guides offer tours to MARIETAS ISLANDS within sight of our beaches, where a fun day out is all about snorkeling, scuba diving & enjoying their famous lover’s hidden beach. Between November & April the Humpback whales appear, offering another major attraction in our area. Don’t forget about sport fishing with our local fishermen. Our next-door neighbor, Beto, is such a fantastic guide and fisherman. If you’re looking for Yoga classes there are a couple of places available - Punta de Mita Yoga & Pilates; Libby Miles yoga classes; or Yoga with Melanie, just a minute or 2 walk from our front door. If culture tickles your fancy - then Punta de Mita is home to the last remaining pre-Columbian culture found in this hemisphere. Evidence of civilization in Punta de Mita & surrounding areas dates back to at least 2000 BC, where there were about 6 different cultural tribes residing in & around the area. Over time the population of these tribes has shrunk, but one of the original tribes, the Huichol (Wee-chol), are still living/practicing their traditional ways. These indigenous people are a living tribute to Punta de Mita’s history. They still live their pure pre-Columbian culture in the Sierra Madre Mountains, west of Punta de Mita. There, the tribe of mystics dedicate themselves to a balanced co-existence with nature. If you need your golf fix, Punta de Mita is home to several famously designed golf courses, & although they are private clubs, you can easily access them with day passes. Salulita & surrounding areas are just a hop, skip and jump by bus. Salulita is famous for its surfing and zip-lines. San Pancho, which is more of a sleepy town with a quaint beach, is a little further north of Salulita. La Cruz de Huanacaxtle is another charming fishing village just south of Punta de Mita. It has an amazing fish market with a wide range of freshly-caught seafood. It is possible to go to local markets in any of these villages every day of the week, if you're a market lover. Each village, town and city has their own market day; these are fun, vibrant and colorful, with anything/everything that you may fancy. All these destinations are accessible by bus. The bus system in Mexico will get you to pretty much any nook & cranny you want to visit plus they are very economical. Everything that you may need is close by. However, if you like wheels, golf carts, cars, taxis, Ubers or bicycles are easy to rent here. The local bus system runs regularly to ole town Puerto Vallarta & all the surrounding areas. The bus is most economical/scenic & the bus stop is just 30 seconds from our Suites de Mita's front door. The hotel is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. So it has minimum traffic and parking areas for guests. Other things to note Our PH Montana Suite #1 can be interconnected with the adjoining PH Azteca Suite #12 for any large family stay. We will honor a 10% discount, on top of all other discounts, if the two suites are rented together for a stay of one week+. For all check-ins and check-outs., there are key lock boxes at Suites de Mita-Boutique Hotel's entrance. For security and your convenience, there is a video security system at the entrance and on the street for parking security aides. There is also a video/audio door bell system if you have any entrance problems. All rooms have security locks that have a non-copy security.
