Welcome to the big en-suite bedroom in our country cottage in the quiet village of Priston, by the church. 20 mins from Bath. Great pub & country walks nearby. See village website for info. Off-street parking on private road. 20 min walk to Priston Mill wedding venue. 1 antique double bed. Two fold-out singles if required. Very relaxed hosts. 1 cat. Lifts to Mill possible. The space A recently finished, large en-suite bedroom in an old cute/quirky (bit scruffy) country cottage; a grade 2 listed building. Lots of interesting and pretty stuff in it. It is a bit battered in places, but the guest room is upstairs, private (at the end of a short corridor), spacious, clean, en-suite, with fast broadband. The room is lockable from the inside. You are given a door key on arrival. There is off-street parking on a private road. Parking two cars is possible on request. Sue is your main hostess. There is an antique four poster double bed; a new single fold-out bed. ONLY THE DOUBLE BED IS MADE UP. Please say in advance if you need the folding single bed made ready. (A fourth bed can be prepared but would be a mattress on the floor). The nice garden can be used for meals, and just sitting out in, if weather is suitable. Once the booking is made we send very detailed information which stays in the airbandb system to be read at any time. Breakfast is included in the price, and at a time agreed when you arrive, and served to the guest bedroom door. The room has a table and chairs, TV/DVD, small fridge, kettle, coffee making stuff, few snacks etc. Clean towels and bedding in place. Guest access Park in parking space (details in post booking info we send); walk up the garden path to the front door. We are usually in to greet guests. If not, there is a key box and extra info is sent. The guest room is on the first floor. Fast fibreoptic broadband and WIFI in the room. Breakfast served to the door of the guest room. Guests can use facilities like main kitchen and washing machine on request. During your stay We are happy to chat, provide breakfast (croissants, toast, tea, coffee, fruit - cooked breakfast by arrangement) but also happy if people want to be in peace. We are quite busy, so often rushing about and/or doing things. We need to know estimated arrival time a few days in advance if possible. We can often give lifts to and from the Priston Mill wedding venue for a small fee. Other things to note We have got one lovely cat. He has access to most of the house, but not the guest bedroom. One adult son might be in residence. But heads off to work! You probably won't see him. The guest room door has a bolt lock on the inside. We are relaxed - but busy - so need to know estimated arrival time in advance. Detailed directions will be sent once booking is made. But, if you find the only pub in the village of Priston, The Ring o Bells, BA2 9EE, you are very near. If you want evening meal the options are; book the pub, but it is not open Sunday or Monday night, drive to other nearby pubs, we can provide details, or into Bath, or bring your own. There is no shop in the village. Nearest decent shop is Odd Down Sainsbury's, Bath. (15 mins). The Odd Down park and ride for Bath is nearer still. The traffic around Bath and Bristol can be tricky, so if coming to a wedding - or similar - plan accordingly. We always leave feedback for guests, nearly always very positive!
