The Meadow Tiny Home

Enjoy a peaceful break set in a tranquil location overlooking the Derryveagh Mountains and Sheephaven Bay. With Ards Forest Park, Glenveagh National Park and Castle, Doe Castle, award winning restaurants and countless beautiful beaches within a 20 minute drive, this charming tiny home is a great base to explore from. Having a car is essential to explore this area. We love where we live, and we will be happy to give any recommendations that you may need. We look forward to welcoming you The space A one of a kind tiny home, built as a lockdown project by myself and my Dad. When you see the setting, you will understand why we had to build something here. With mountain and sea views, this is an idyllic setting to relax and escape the fast paced day to day, allowing you to recharge your batteries in the peace and quiet. The tiny home is set at the top of a meadow. There is a grass walkway up to it, so suitable footwear may be required depending on the weather. We have a porch at the front that faces Sheephaven Bay and Downings. We have provided throw blankets and encorage any guests to use them if they want to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the view Guest access Guests have full access to the tiny home and surrounding grounds Other things to note The upstairs bed is on a mezzanine and has a low ceiling, as shown in the pictures. Small house trained dogs will be accepted, but any damage caused will be charged additionally. Please keep on a leash when outside, unless you let us know otherwise. We have 2 dogs who share the area, but we will always check if it's safe to let them out before letting them out. Service animals are always accepted. This area can be bad for midges and ticks. We would recommend staying out of the long grass and at night time, leaving the lights off when windows or doors are open. We can also arrange midge repellant if you need. This will stop both midges and ticks. There is also a great pharmacy in Creeslough for anything additional that you may need.
