Description

In our Bear Cabin you will find a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with indoor plumbing and one with a shower, an open little living room with a wood stove for frosty winter days, a separate bedroom with a queen size bed downstairs, one queen size and two single beds in an open loft upstairs. So up to 6 people can stay there. There is no cell-phone connection or internet and there is no power in the cabin, everything works with propane.   The space Surrounded by mountains, lakes and the forest you’ll find our stunning Rocky Ridge Resort with its amazing log cabins which you can rent. Our Resort is located in the beautiful Bulkley Valley – approximately 40km northwest of the town of Smithers- British Columbia. Rocky Ridge Resort is a 105 acres Resort which includes three Cabins, a Sauna and a Saloon. Which is not open as a public bar/ restaurant. But there are various games, books and other things for our guests (kids and adults) for entertainment. Our guests can take the opportunity to relax and calm down from this busy world by just being in this breathtaking nature. Whether you want to spend an adventurous trip with your family or a romantic couple of days with your partner- everything is possible at Rocky Ridge! Guest access To get here in wintertime you need a 4x4 car. You are welcome to bring your ATV, snowmobile, side by side, boat, skis, mountainbikes ot whatever you have. There are lots of old logging roads around our resort. But with all the mitorized vehicles please stay on the road and don‘t drive trough the fields. Other things to note At our Resort you can enjoy beautiful wildlife the whole day! There are different kinds of birds, you may see some black bears, hummingbirds, moose, coyotes, mountain goats, deer and a lot more, please be careful with wildlife an never leave garbage and food outside the Cabin. Please Note: - We do not have cell-phone connection on the Resort - We have Wi-Fi and a phone at the office - There is no power in the Cabins, you can rent a generator for electricity ($50/day) - You are welcome to use the sauna for an extra charge of $50 per use. We have a few rules so everyone is happy at Rocky Ridge Resort. - Please do not smoke in the buildings - Fireworks are not allowed - No hunting on the property - Please keep to the rest times (10pm to 9am) - Do not leave any garbage lying around - Pets are allowed but please clean up after them - There is the possibility to rent a generator for electricity, please keep to the rest times for generator: 9am to 10pm - In the summer time please do not drive trough the hay fields, use the roads or the mown fields. - We have three dogs, horses, cats, goats and chicken.
