Electric heating system and a real working woodstove fireplace! Halfway in between Montreal and Ottawa! No neighbours! Nice open concept with high ceilings. Built in 2014. Approximately 2.4 km from Alexandria. 55 minutes from Ottawa and Montreal. 25 minutes from Calypso water park. The space Really cool rustic retro log cabin style vibe. More fun than glamping. Open concept kitchen and living room with 9 foot high ceilings. Large ceiling fans in each room ( cabin stays cool all summer ). 48 inch tv with over 200 satellite channels. Wood stove with glass door in this area. Full size fridge, microwave and stove. All utensils and cookware provided. Tons of plates, bowls, glasses and mugs. Coffee is supplied. Bathroom has a bathtub with shower. New big hot water tank ( great for long hot showers ) . Bedroom has a new queen bed. Queen size sofa bed with new mattress in living room and a IKEA flip out sponge couch for kids. Extra blankets provided. 2 minutes from Alexandria. Close to Calypso water park (30 minutes). 24 minutes from Cornwall. 30 minutes to Mont Rigeaud ski hill. 55 minutes from Montreal and Ottawa. 15 minutes to Maxville Highland Games Guest access The entire property is available to guests as well as an old logging trail through the forest next door which becomes Frog Hollow trail. There is also a beach and 4 lakes with boat launches approximately 2 km from cabin with highly rated bicycle and walking trails along them. Other things to note Cottage has Bell satellite tv with over 600 channels. Outdoor fires are allowed without permit. Please bring your firewood for the fire pit. Charcoal bbq supplied but please bring your charcoal and bbq utensils. No wifi but there is internet cell service.
