MudStays is located in Bhangeli village in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Its around 30 Kms before harshil and from parking one has to walk for about 8-10 minutes.The place as its name suggests has mud plastered walls which keeps the room temperature moderate in winters and summer. Phone network is very limited.only jio works. We as MudStays, provide all the modern facilities with an essence of old heritage, feeling of being one with nature while catering all the comfort. The space This is the first room of MudStays. Built from scratch with much love and care. All the rooms have floor carpet and are equipped with a Double king size bed and we have put Ortho plus mattresses for extra comfort. Rooms have all the basic amenities and furniture. We have a dedicated workspace inside the room where one can work on their laptops and also enjoy nature at the same time.This room has an European style extended window where one can sit , read a book or even take a nap. The room has an attached Washroom with Geyser. Our property is located at the top of bhangeli village and is the last house and we have three temples adjacent to our property out of which one is 5 pandavas temple which is more than 500 years old Deodar wood temple. Trek for gidara bugyal starts right next to our door and there is a huge jungle just next to our property and if one wants they can stroll or take a day hike as there are so many trails which goes from MudStayz. One can take excursions to various places by making MudStayz as their base as Harsil valley is 1 to 1.5 Hours drive away, Gangotri is 2 hours drive away, Take a dip in Gangnani hot springs which is 7 kms away. Explore Nelong valley (commonly known as ladakh of uttarakhand) which is enroute to gangotri, explore Gartang Gali (Old Silk route) enroute gangotri. We also provide Day hikes to nearby forest with our 2 dogs, Duggu and Ricky, which includes cooking and eating in a nomadic way with basic ingredients yet very yumm with an extra fair price. Other things to note 1. one can park their vehicle on road head and from there it's about 200 meters(5-7 minutes) trek. 2. we have carpet floors so please remove your shoes outside the rooms. 3. NO smoking inside the rooms. 4. Please don't play loud music after 8 pm. 5. Only jio network is available. 6. Wifi connections is available but not very fast.
