Bedouin Camp - Traditional Tent 2 (1-5 pers)
Description
Experience the Bedouin hospitality in our cozy family camp. We have a traditional style camp, in the middle of the desert. This is your perfect getaway if you are looking for a place to really connect with nature and locals. We love storytelling around the campfire or teaching you how to dance Dabke. Traditional breakfast is included! And we can prepare a delicious dinner. We also offer jeep tours, hikes and camel rides. In your tent you can relax and watch the mountain when you open the window The space The big main tent is a meeting point for tourists and locals, where we like to come together to eat, or sit around the campfire telling stories, singing, dancing or just relaxing. We can also make a shisha if you like that. We have a "Cave" behind the Camp. At night we usually make a campfire and dim the lights, perfect for stargazing. You can even see the Milky Way! For more privacy, you have your own private tent with a small window. If you open it you can see the mountains, the panoramic landscape and the sunset. Your tent has a comfortable bed, a pillow and blankets. Our tents have room for up to 3 people, but we can host bigger families as well (ask us for the options). We find it important to keep the traditional style alive in our camp, but we also have some modern facilities. The main tent has lighting and charging stations. And we have a bathroom building (seperate for man and women) with 4 modern showers and 4 modern toilets. Guest access Guests have access to the shared main tent and bathroom and restroom facilities. The kitchen is for staff only, but the refrigerator can be used on request. Other things to note A traditional dinner is not included, you can reserve this by contacting us, and pay for this cash on arrival. (The additional costs are 5 Dinar per person). We offer 1 free transfer from Wadi Rum Village to the Camp when you check in, and 1 free transfer from the Camp to Wadi Rum Village when you check ou. (A transfer from the Visitors Center is 10 JOD). Winters can get pretty cold, keep yourself warm with a proper outfit.
