The space You'll be staying in my parents home while they are away on vacation, so you'll find that this is very much a home rather than just a space, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. As this is someones home you will find photos and personal mementos around the space and personal items in drawers and cupboards - however there is still lots of space for you to make the home work for you during your stay. It's a wonderful place for family and friends to gather with a large open concept kitchen and family room, an expansive central living room with a piano and a large dining room. In addition to these spaces there is a sunroom with a daybed, a kids play room with another day bed, and 4 bedrooms each with a bathroom (3 attached, one just outside the door). An oversized deck (3,000 square feet plus) offers considerably more living space during the warmer months and includes a fully covered and partially enclosed (on 3 sides) living area with comfortable seating and a barbeque, two dining tables, another fully covered section with comfortable seating and games and toys for entertainment (beanbag toss, oversized jenga, foosball table etc.) The entire home is designed to be wheelchair accessible with accessible parking, elevator access, wide doorframes and minimal transitions and raised oulets and lowered light switches. The master bedroom and bathroom are completely accessible including a wheel under sink, a wheel in shower with shower chair, support poles by both the bed and the toilet and a whirlpool tub with lowering side for easy access. This home is the only residence in this 3 story mixed use building and takes up the entirety of the 3rd floor. There is a barber on the 1st floor if you need a cut or shave! The 2nd floor of the building contains office space. The parkade is shared space between all the building tenants. Guest access You will have access to the entire home with the exception of one locked storage space.
