Guest house in Dayton
Description
Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located cabin. This guesthouse sits on almost 42 acres that borders the 300 acreTWRA public hunting land. The slough in the backyard is a duck hunters dream! Also located just 10 minutes to the Dayton Boat dock, it’s a great spot for fishermen to hang their hats after a long day on the water, sit around the campfire, grill out, and relax. The carport on the cabin is a great spot to park your boat with electrical hook ups. The space The cabin is a perfect getaway, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We lived here for years before building our house, and loved the simplicity of it. The sunsets are incredible! Our acreage is currently used as a hay farm so you may encounter a tractor or 2 every now and again. The driveway is 1/4 mile long and is gravel, so if we haven’t had rain in a while it can be a bit dusty. Tons of wildlife around to enjoy! Guest access You will have the entire guesthouse to yourselves! We live on the property too so you may see us out in the garden or tending to the chickens Other things to note We ask that no hunting take place on our property. The cabin is steps away from TWRA’s hunting lease, so please hunt there. We have a dog, a cat, and chickens on the property that are all friendly and love company. The cat, Bruce, will more than likely stop by to say hi! We recently installed a split unit and did a few upgrades that we hope you will enjoy
