Whether you're a paddler here for an event on the lake or simply seeking a peaceful getaway, this gem offers the perfect retreat. Conveniently located minutes from the Dartmouth waterfront, where you can stroll and catch the Dartmouth Ferry into Halifax, and just a short drive to Ikea, this unit is ideally situated for both leisure and practical needs. Please note that the unit comfortably accommodates up to 2 adults and 2 children, making it ideal for small families or couples seeking a cozy retreat. The living room features a spacious leather sofa and a wall-mounted smart TV, providing the perfect setting for relaxation after a day of adventure. For those mixing work with pleasure, a large sit/stand work area awaits, complete with high-quality ergonomic office chair, dual 24-inch Samsung monitors, Targus USB C Hub, and external Microsoft keyboard and mouse. Computer equipment is only provided upon request at booking. A fully equipped kitchen awaits, stocked with all the appliances and supplies needed to cook meals, or you can opt for take-out and have it delivered to your door. Step outside onto the patio walk-out and into the large fenced-in backyard, leading down to a private section of dock. Guest access Guests are free to use the backyard and dock. These are private fenced areas that are shared with other occupants of the property. (usually only your host) I ask those who are self-isolating to use the proper social distancing from me and my other guests. Just give me a heads up when you are using any shared area. Other things to note Please respect the neighborhood and neighbors. It is a quiet neighborhood and I am living in the unit above. After 8pm you should use your inside voice (preferably your library inside voice ;) Parking: There is plenty of room for one vehicle possibly two if you are skilled(no blocking in your host please). There is no street parking. Please lock your vehicle at all times. Floor creaks: Its an old place that has some creaks. I am somewhat of a light walker but there is a chance you'll hear my fridge trips. All areas outside the unit are monitored by security cameras. Registration Details STR2627A1304
