Architect's home. Top Floor Loft! Bright and Airy
Description
This is a very bright, top floor flat on a quiet street with quiet neighbours, yet is extremely close to all shops and restaurants of this vibrant neighbourhood in the heart of Hackney. The flat is located within a Victorian building and is full of period charm, with the benefit of all modern amenities one would need for longer stays. Would suit a professional nomad looking for a base! The space This apartment has an open plan living area where you will find a fully equipped kitchen (all amenities needed for longer term stay are included), a bright and cosy living room equipped with an extremely comfortable down-filled sofa, rug and tv, and a marble dining table and dining set which seats 4. The bedroom is located behind the living area, which faces private gardens and obscured from any main roads, therefore it is extremely quiet for a flat in London. Guests will have full use of a wardrobe for storage and the bedroom is fitted with black out curtains. The bathroom is located on a half mezzanine and is accessed via and few steps - it is small but bright (although you might need to watch out for a low door frame entering it depending on how tall you are). I particularly enjoy taking baths looking at the sky through the skylight. This is a modernised Victorian flat and all windows are double glazed sash windows. I have never experienced any cold draughts living here. The entire apartment is 580 sqft. Guest access The apartment is reached via stairs only (no elevator in building). Guest will enjoy private use of the kitchen, living room, dining area, bedroom and bathroom. Other things to note There's quite a few really good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. And transportation connections are plenty - either walk to Dalston overground or take overground to Liverpool Street from Rectory Road (5 minutes walk) where the new Crossrail (Elisabeth Line) will take you into central London within 10 minutes.
