Ideally located close to the city center of BAYEUX and close to the landing beaches, our cottage offers a green setting close to the amenities of the city center, in the heart of an old farmhouse. The property is located at the end of a pedestrian path that leads straight to the Cathedral and a few hundred meters from the train station. No parking difficulties since the courtyard is private. The house offers a spacious and unoverlooked sunny garden. The space The house is located in the heart of an old, renovated farmhouse surrounded by walls. It is only a 4-minute drive from Bayeux Cathedral (city center) and a 15-minute walk from the center. The house is composed as follows: Located in our old farmhouse that has been completely renovated, just a few minutes from the historic center of Bayeux, Maison de la Ferme is a large, welcoming family home, ideal for gatherings with family or friends while enjoying a completely private garden. Spacious and comfortable, it offers several separate living areas, allowing everyone to enjoy the house at their own pace, even during group stays. THE HOUSE On the ground floor, you will find a large, convivial kitchen/dining room that is fully equipped: induction stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee makers, kettle, juicer, toaster and everything you need to cook and enjoy great meals together. The living room is divided into several areas: • a reading corner; • A lounge area around the stove, particularly pleasant on cooler evenings; • A small TV lounge, allowing children or different members of the group to enjoy a separate space, among other things. On this level, you will also find a laundry room and two toilets. The house opens directly onto its private garden with trees and its large terrace. ROOMS The house has five bedrooms spread over two floors. On the first floor: • one bedroom with double bed; • One bedroom with queen-size double bed, with access to a bathroom with shower and sink, as well as a toilet; • A bedroom with a king size bed, with access to a bathroom with a bathtub, sink and toilet. On the second floor: • Two additional bedrooms, one of which has two single beds; • a bathroom with shower and toilet. This layout comfortably accommodates families, couples and groups of friends while maintaining several separate spaces. THE GARDEN & OUTDOOR SPACES The Farmhouse has its own private garden with trees, directly accessible from the living rooms. The large terrace is arranged to enjoy the sunny days, with: • Garden furniture; • Large table for outdoor dining • barbecue; • plancha. The inner courtyard of the farm is accessible by car. You also have free parking at the back of the property, directly accessible from the garden. BAYEUX NEARBY Here, you can enjoy the calm and space of an old farmhouse while still being just minutes from the center of Bayeux, its shops, restaurants and historical sites. The house is also an ideal base from which to explore the D-Day landing beaches and the main sites in the area.
