The Baker's House - Bagarstugan

Welcome to stay in the old Baker's at our farm in the countryside in the South of Dalecarlia. You will dispose of your own house with stunning surroundings. The lake, the forest, and the fields are just outside of your door. There are cross-country skiing tracks nearby and good downhill skiing 40-45 min away in Säfsen and Romme Alpin. The area also has great trail running and MTB. The lake is ideal for pike and bass fishing from a boat in the summer, or ice fishing in the winter. The space The Baker’s house is a spacious cottage of 180m2. The house is set in peaceful surroundings and you will enjoy beautiful sights from the window and garden. The house has two fireplaces which can be heated with wood from our own forest. Our family, Lina and Thomas with our three children, also live on the farm in a house next to the Baker’s house. We keep chickens and a cat on the farm and we enjoy growing our own food. We would also love to give you tips on nice mountain bike trails and hikes to access in the nearby area. We speak Swedish, English, and also French. Guest access The Baker’s house is a fully modern house, with wifi, a washing machine, a tumble drier, and a dishwasher. The living room is equipped with a 43” 4K Smart TV with access to HBO Max, and Amazon Prime... Upstairs there is a spacious bathroom with changing table and downstairs you will find a small toilet. You are also welcome to use our training equipment with dumbbells, yoga mat. The house has eight beds in 4 different rooms and all the rooms also fit a crib. We can also offer a small bed suitable for children. We offer soap, washing powder, bed sheets, and toilet paper. We have a charger for electric cars that you are welcome to use at a fee. The closest supermarket is located down in the village, 3 km away. In the small village, you will also find a pharmacy and petrol station. A farm shop that is open some days of the week is 2 km away and offers freshly baked bread, own meat products, and eggs. Other things to note We speak Swedish, English, and French.
