Walk onto catamount and connect to the South Taconic Trail. 20-30 minutes from everywhere you want to be upstate. Come relax in this classic and unique 1940’s country house situated on the West side of Mount Fray with views stretching all the way to the Catskills. Three spacious bedrooms outfitted with king beds and attached full bathrooms, ensure that you will have plenty of space and privacy. The primary en-suite bathroom features a spacious walk-in closet, whirlpool tub, and large make-up vanity. The third bedroom features it’s own private sitting room with tv on the opposite side of the house for added privacy. (All of the bedrooms are on the second floor, although the third bedroom is only up a half flight of steps.) The main floor consists of a spacious eat in kitchen with ample cabinet space, and center island. Commercial grade oven, and subzero refrigerator. A formal dining room sits just beyond the kitchen, with a large table that can easily seat ten guests. In the warmer months, open the french doors to the large brick terrace for outdoor dining and lounging. The sunsets are spectacular. Returning to the interior, a front foyer connects to the large Oak paneled living room with wood burning fireplace. Spend your evenings watching the tv, playing games at the card table, or playing the fully restored 1928 Chickering grand piano. As a guest at Breezy Hill Farm, you will be able to access all of the spaces within the main house except for a few utilitarian areas: attic, garage, basement, and a couple of closets. There is an attached portion of the house via a very long breezeway which is also off limits to guests. There are additional buildings on the property which are private. These include: two guest houses, a service garage, and a chicken coop. However, guests will have access to most all of the grounds. If certain areas are to be restricted, they will be properly marked. Breezy Hill is a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. We are a close and connected community, and you’ll probably encounter other neighbors on morning or afternoon walks. Please be respectful and polite, as they will no doubt be quite welcoming to you. You’ll be very much in the country here, so the main noises you’ll hear are the birds, or the wind whipping through the pine trees. A short walk will take you by several beautiful vistas, as well as some neighbors’ gorgeous gardens. You’ll need a car to get around. Uber isn’t always reliable here. Once here, park in the driveway, but please don’t block the garage. More detailed parking instructions are available upon arrival. 1. The "sunroom" pictured off the main living space is only comfortable in the mild to warmer months and will not be useable in the cold weather and winter.
