This former 60 m² country house with all amenities welcomes you for your getaways, country vacations, retreats and remote work in the countryside or work in the area. Le Logis offers a spacious bedroom, a nice kitchen and a living room with sofa bed, overlooking the Parc des Fontaines, consisting of a rose garden, a plant maze, a pond and forests. Between Le Mans and Angers, Domaine des Fontaines welcomes you in its three gites to discover the Anjou, the Loir Valley, the Loire by bike, the 24h of Le Mans, the Zoo de la Flèche. A rare and unspoiled place, where you can enjoy a nature that is both respected and maintained. A very small hamlet of four houses, once a place of work and life of several generations of families, now shared and open to all, for a break, a vacation, a moment of rest. Within the estate and in the center of the "hamlet", we suggest you stay at the cottage "Le Logis", a typical house of the Anjou countryside! Important: the living room has a fairly low ceiling (2.20 m) with a low cross beam (1.80 m). It's lovely, but we'd rather warn you! This old 60 m² comfortable country house welcomes you for your getaways, holidays in the countryside, retirement and teleworking in the countryside or work in the region. Le Logis offers you: - a large living room with comfortable sofa bed + sofa bed, dining area, bread oven and stove, - a spacious and comfortable bedroom, - A fully-equipped kitchen, - a bathroom area and separate toilet, all overlooking the Parc des Fontaines. In terms of sleeping, the Logis is very flexible: ROOM - Bedroom: main bed with hotel-quality mattress 160x200 - Bedroom: bench seat composed of 2 real 80x200 single mattresses, which can be converted into a single bed or double bed 160x200 (ideal if you want to share the room with parents and children) LIVING ROOM - Living room: bench composed of 2 real 80x200 single mattresses, which can be arranged as a single bed or 160x200 double bed - Living room: 140x200 convertible corner sofa It is therefore possible to have 4 people upstairs (family with young children), or 2 people upstairs + 2 people downstairs with good comfort! By default, for families, we put parents and children upstairs. If you'd like to have the parents sleep in the living room, just let us know. We wanted this house as a mix of old and modern. You'll find remnants of the past, such as its original terracotta tiles, its low (but charming) cross-beam and its functional wood-burning oven. But of course, the house offers all the comforts of a modern home, with its fully equipped kitchen, TV area with Google TV box, 500 Mbps fiber Wi-Fi internet access, and washer/dryer. In winter, the house is heated by radiators, and you can light the wood stove to read or watch a movie in the warmth of the wood! Wood is available without limitation. On sunny days, you will enjoy your private plant terrace to read or eat quietly, away from all traffic, in the tranquility of an unspoiled countryside. Le Logis is located in a landscaped park. You will have a view of the bamboo grove, the red hut and the pond. On the other side, you can visit the Roseraie des Fontaines (comprising over 1,000 rose bushes), to which you naturally have access for moments of colorful contemplation (in bloom from mid-June to September). The children will enjoy the plant labyrinth and everyone can walk in the 2 hectares of private forest. Pets are allowed (except category 1 and 2 dogs) with an additional charge: be sure to report them on AirBNB.
