This magical home is located on a private 44 acre lot. As you enter the property you’ll be welcomed by the mature pine, willow and hemlock trees. Outside you can enjoy the beautiful 1- acre pond surrounded by gorgeous native plants and wildlife. The space Enter the property and be welcomed by an array of native trees. Stepping inside this charming one room + bath studio-style cottage you’ll notice the rays of light that fill the home with energy and warmth. We took our time to curate this special sanctuary to be perfect for a quiet getaway with a partner or friend, or a solo retreat. Waking to the beautiful symphonic sound of the native birds from the surrounding trees is gentle and exciting. There’s a plethora of native medicinal herbs as well as cultivated culinary herbs for your use. You can enjoy morning coffee or tea on the oversized deck gazing across the 1-acre pond. Feel free the leisurely lounge around, take a swim in the pond, or explore the grounds. Anticipate local wildlife sightings, deer, rabbits, foxes and more are known to pass through the land. Late night stargazing is extremely beautiful with a glass of wine while listening to bullfrogs croak from the ponds edge. Located just a 10 minute drive to the center of Saugerties and 15 minutes to Woodstock. This location is close to amazing hiking trails, horseback riding, great restaurants, shopping, historical landmarks, and outdoor museums, and more. Ayurvedic Health Consultations, Bodywork/Massage Therapy, and Yoga are available on site for “Little Bliss Pond House” guests. My home office is located in the main house on the property. Guest access Little Bliss Pond House and Grounds Other things to note If you plan to have any day guests visit you during your stay you must get permission first. No overnight guests. No pets. No fishing in the pond. Please only park in designated parking spot. We will provide enough wood for one fire, after that please purchase your own wood for fire pit. No fire in the cabin (candle etc.).
