The Old Corner Cottage is the perfect cosy hideaway to return to after a day of sightseeing and exploring the wonderful Cotswolds. Being period it has all the lovely features you would expect from a cottage of this age including a lovely inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove and exposed ceiling beams in the sitting room and dining room. When you are in the cottage you could be anywhere as it is so peaceful. The space The front door leads to a small entrance hall where there are coat hooks and a bench seat for storing outdoor shoes. Off this to the left can be found the small ground floor bathroom with a shower above the bath. A door to the right leads to the beamed sitting room with its lovely inglenook fireplace and there is an open tread staircase to the first floor. The galley kitchen/dining room is through a door from the sitting room. On the first floor is a landing with a built-in storage cupboard and two bedrooms, both with ample built-in wardrobes. The property has no garden, just a small paved area to the front, which can be seen from the photograph of the cottage. Guest access The Cottage shares it's access with the adjoining cottage Pleasant View via a pedestrian access. The Old Corner Cottage is tucked away in the left hand corner. Other things to note Being an old property the ceilings, in part of the cottage, have several low beams and two low doorways. The property also has no garden with the exception of a small paved sitting area to the front of the cottage, which can be seen from the photographs. Leafield is only 5 miles from Diddly Squat Farm (Jeremy Clarkson's Farm which has recently been on Amazon Prime), 11 miles from Blenheim Palace and 6 miles from Burford (Gateway to the Cotwolds).
