Quiet, light-filled room in beautifully restored Victorian house in leafy Blackheath. 10 mins' walk to Greenwich Park, 20 mins to Blackheath Village & Thames. Great pubs, cafes & supermkt nearby, plus trains & many buses. House's owner is a travel writer whose globetrotting finds decorate the interior. This is a tranquil, well-located retreat in a characterful historic part of London. Two (gorgeous) cats share the house! The space Your wood-floored bedroom overlooks well-kept cottage-style garden; there's a desk and good storage. Next to the bedroom is the bathroom (shared with one other person, the owner) with claw-footed bath and spacious shower with great water pressure. Hang out in big, bright day room leading on to garden. On sunny days, the garden is a lovely spot to work and rest. The house is a calm, quiet retreat with attractions of historic London nearby. Guest access Apart from your bedroom, you'll have access to bathroom, big kitchen-day room and garden. During your stay Happy to let guests have their own space but I'm also available for a chat and to give London travel advice. Other things to note I have two very friendly cats.
