Renovated chapel in Vidlin, Shetland

Sunsets, space and solitude in a converted stone built chapel. Renovated to a high standard in 2014, it provides all the home comforts you need in a beautiful location with views of Vidlin Loch. There is private parking at the house. The charming village of Vidlin has a service bus route nearby. In the centre of the village is an attractive marina within easy walking distance of the Chapel. The nearest pub in Brae is 10 miles away and it’s just 22 miles to the ferry port of Lerwick. The space The living/dining/kitchen is an airy spacious room with floor to ceiling windows letting in lots of light. In the evening you can watch beautiful sunsets and enjoy the view of the loch while sitting having a glass of wine inside or outside on the picnic bench on a beautiful summer evening. The roomy bedroom has a comfy king sized bed with a vanity table and full length mirror. A hair dryer and hair straighteners are available in the vanity table drawer. The utility room has a fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer with plenty hanging space to dry clothes. There is a clothes steamer in the utility room above the freezer. The toilet/shower room is compact but well equipped with essential toiletries. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house including the secluded, sheltered back garden and the front garden with picnic bench and swing seat.
