Unique beachfront apartment on Viking Bay

Perfectly located right on the beach yet in the heart of Broadstairs, this ground floor flat is in the historic 'Eagle House', named after the French Eagle Standard captured in the Battle of Waterloo. It is comfortably but stylishly furnished with mid-century vintage pieces and original artworks by local artists; enjoy a morning coffee on the sunny patio before stepping through the secret beach gate onto the golden sands of Viking Bay. Note there is no sea view from this apartment. The space The flat is light and airy with an open plan lounge/diner, well appointed kitchen area, modern shower room and bedroom with its own sunny patio area; perfect for morning coffee or dinner al fresco whilst listening to the gentle sound of the sea. There is no sea view from the apartment, but you do have a lovely view of the well-kept communal gardens and the row of cute beach huts just outside, and you're literally steps away from the beach through the private beach gate. Please note that although you can access the flat from the beach via the beach gate once you have checked in, the main entrance is on The Parade, so it is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties as you have to go down 5 flights of stairs to reach the flat. Guest access Communal gardens Other things to note The maximum number of people for this flat is 2 adults (classed as 13+ on AirBnB) plus one child under 12 years on the z-bed and a baby in the travel cot. I provide a travel cot for babies, as well as a baby bath and high chair, and a single Z-bed with bedding for an older child. Bedding for the travel cot is not provided. There is an additional charge of £8/night for more than 2 people to cover the cost of cleaning the cot and/or laundering additional bedding. Please be aware that there are 5 flights of stairs from the street level down to the flat, although you can enter and leave via the beach gate once you have collected the keys from the main entrance. There is no parking at Eagle House. There are meters for short term parking/unloading along Victoria Parade, the High Street and other streets around 3 mins' walk from the apartment, various longer-term car parks within 5-10mins' walk and free on-street parking around 10-15 mins' walk.
