The space We only take one booking at a time and so whether you are 1 or 16 people, you will have the house to yourselves. The house has been in the same family for 8 generations. Alongside beautiful antiques and oil paintings are the comforts of modern life, a fully equipped kitchen, fast broadband, modern bathrooms with underfloor heating. It is a perfect place to spend time with friends and family with a huge dining room to seat 18, a large drawing room and open fires. There is a snooker room, a tennis court and large private estate to roam. Guest access All spaces are huge and guests have exclusive access to a newly renovated kitchen and informal dining area, a formal dining room and a drawing /sitting room. The house is set on a 500 acre private estate and working farm and guests are welcome to walk everywhere except where there is livestock. Other things to note If you would like any meals catered for you during your stay, subject to availability we can organise a private chef. This needs to be booked and paid for in advance - directly to the caterer. We are happy to help and advise our guests in any way we can, including recommended restaurants, pubs, walks, golf, mountain biking, kayaking and world class surfing.
