A private bedroom and bathroom with a patio and separate entrance for complete privacy separated from the rest of the house by a garage. Great location close to cafes, restaurants, stores and public transportation. Nice neighborhood with tree lined streets and gardens. There's a microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge for simple breakfasts but there's not a kitchen for meal prep and no table or chairs inside for eating. There's an outdoor patio with a table and chairs when the weather is nice. It is perfect for travelers who are coming to Portland to spend their days exploring and just need a quiet and cozy place to rest their heads after a long day of fun and adventures! Hollywood is a neat, historic neighborhood close to downtown Portland. Public transportation taking you in all directions is very close by. The room is completely private with a private bathroom and a private patio. There are no shared spaces and no access to a kitchen or to the rest of the house. I do have internet but this is not a suitable airbnb if you are needing a place to work as there is not a desk or table. I am also not set up for dining. There is not a table and chairs nor is there a place to prepare meals or properly dispose of food waste. There isn't a television either, so this is not a good fit for people looking for a place to hang out. You have access to your room, your bathroom, and your patio. I love to socialize with my guests but will also respect their privacy if they'd rather not be bothered. Hollywood is a fun historic neighborhood. The Hollywood District is a neighborhood of northeast Portland renamed for its historic 1920s-era Hollywood Theatre. Although a mixed commercial and residential area, it serves primarily as a shopping district to the adjacent neighborhoods of Grant Park and Laurelhurst, as well as to riders of the MAX Light Rail System. The Hollywood District also figures in Beverly Cleary's Klickitat Street series of books, a fact memorialized in a display at the Hollywood Library, which also provides a Beverly Cleary walking tour. The first pedestrian crossing light in Oregon was installed in the Hollywood District, across the street from the Hollywood theater. We are literally a block away from the bus line that takes your right into downtown Portland. I'm within walking distance to the Hollywood Transit Center where you can catch the max or buses to pretty much anywhere. In order to keep cleaning costs down, please remove the sheets and pillow cases and place them along with all towels in the laundry basket in the closet. I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. I do have internet but this is not a suitable airbnb if you are needing a place to work. I do not have an office space in this unit and there is not a desk or table. I am also not set up for dining. There is not a table and chairs nor is there a place to prepare meals.
