Located a few miles from the National Forest White Rocks Recreation Area and the Appalachian Trail and a short drive from multiple ski areas (Okemo/Pico/Killington). Recreation abounds just out the door with hiking, fishing and swimming within walking distance. Or take a leisurely stroll to the multiple restaurants (or amazing bakery) or the quaint shops in town. Kitchen: New appliances, full stove with oven, marble wall, all of the amenities to make a gourmet meal, or order a pizza! Small appliances include a coffee maker, air fryer & toaster. Great room: Open floorplan with high ceilings and boho décor. A small office nook if you have to work while in paradise. Closets: Two closets, one walk in. Hangers, shelves, luggage rack, everything you could need. Bathroom: Bathtub/shower combo, washer/dryer, hairdryer, extra toiletries, high end towels and extra linens. General: Fast fiberoptic internet, stair access to unit, owners on site in the main house and will leave you alone unless asked to engage. Outdoor: Private outdoor space with chairs and a low smoke fire pit. We will supply the firewood. If you would like to have a fire let us know. Guest access The apartment has a private access on the side of the house. The apartment is on the second floor with french door access. Other things to note Amazing recreation opportunities right out the door, and a short drive. Wallingford is 2/3 National Forest and the Appalachian Trail is just a few miles up the road. You can walk to the Otter Creek (trout stream) or Elfin Lake town beach which are both less then a mile away. Okemo is 30 minutes away, and both Killington and Mt Snow about 45 minutes away. If staying longer then 30 days you will need to sign a rental agreement and send me a copy of your license to confirm the listing. We are available via text if you have any questions or need anything. We live on the property but will leave you alone unless you request interaction from us. We have two dogs that live on the property with us. There is some occasional barking in the neighborhood. The space is very well insulated from sound. This rental space is new and is a renovated area on the second floor.
