Loft offers a twin bed for additional guests who don't mind a loft ladder, and there is a full bed futon in the living room. Expansive Outdoor Deck with seating and grilling areas create your own little oasis in the treetops. Come home after a day at the beach on Wrightsville and wash off in the private outdoor shower. Beach chairs and some beach essentials provided as well as bikes and fishing gear if desired! 2 Kayaks, Life Jackets, Paddles and Foam Surfboard available upon request. Please note the nearest kayak launch is just under a mile away and guests will need to be capable of transporting kayaks to launches. We have a foam roof rack for use. Enjoy the playground and park just behind the property as well as lots of toys for little ones in our yard! Explore the Beauty of Airlie Gardens and the New Hanover County Arboretum, both just down the road. Wendy's House is a short bike ride up the road for wine and charcuterie. Just 1.5 Miles from UNCW Campus and the Biking Trails Surrounding the Campus. It's only a 15 minute drive to the riverwalk and historic downtown. Many adventures await. Please do note the space is above our detached garage so just make sure you are comfortable with stair access. Guest access The Apartment is set 30' away from our main home and all amenities are on the far side, so enjoy plenty of privacy. There are stairs to access the apartment. Other things to note Kayaks must be self transported to kayak launch. We have foam roof racks and straps, paddles and life jackets for your use. Closest kayak launch is 1 Mile away. The loft space with twin bed is accessible only by loft ladder, so please keep that in consideration. Use ladder at your own risk. The apartment is on the 2nd level accessible only by steps. The washer/dryer unit is a combo all in one unit. We share the gravel road with a few neighbors with kids. Please drive slowly on our gravel road. There will sometimes be kids out playing.
